Little Blue Pigeon Books, an independent bookstore owned by children's author and 20-year book marketing veteran and children's book author Paige Dungan, opens its doors this Wednesday, April 1 at 1413 Larimer Street!
The 1,000-square-foot shop will carry more than 4,000 personally curated titles as Dungan has committed to only selling books she's read herself, focusing on literary fiction, nonfiction and cookbooks. The space features hand-painted murals by local artists from Lupine Designs and will host children's programming, author pop-ups, workshops, and literary discussions.
Little Blue Pigeon will also donate one book for every book sold to a rotating Denver literary partner. Their first is BookGive, a local nonprofit getting books into the hands of individuals, schools and organizations across the metro.
This opening is another sign of Larimer Square's continued momentum as one of downtown's destinations for retail.
Stop by Wednesday and see it for yourself. Learn more: https://www.bizjournals.com/denver/news/2026/03/30/little-blue-pigeon-larimer-square-bookstore.html
